A natural history museum built from cleaned, rearticulated marine skeletons — and a working conservation effort behind every exhibit.
Founded by wildlife rescuer Darrell Blatchley, D'Bone began as a response to marine animals found stranded, entangled, or beached along Davao's coastline — often too late to save. Rather than let that work disappear, the museum cleans and rearticulates the skeletons, turning loss into a teaching collection.
The centerpiece is a series of full whale and dolphin skeletons, alongside smaller specimens and displays on plastic pollution's effect on marine life — the museum doubles as an advocacy space as much as an exhibit hall.
